Practice relevance

Cross-practice idea · A general operational method. Review the stated tool and jurisdiction limits before use.

The problem

Turn approved facts and licensed assets into video and carousel production instructions.

Why it matters: A team that will not appear on camera still needs a clear production brief. A fact-linked storyboard gives the designer and attorney something specific to review without inventing testimonials, outcomes, or client likenesses.

Sources & evidence

What’s been verified

Source methods and reported problems have been reviewed. We have not run the adapted workflow. The sample below describes expected behavior on synthetic data, not a customer result.

What to measure: In a synthetic pilot, count correctly found exceptions, false alarms, and unresolved inputs. No time or cost saving is assumed.

  • Pain evidence: Ad creative for law firms?? ↗2026-07-31, self-described family-law-firm campaign operator Late-Spite-7865, Ad creative for law firms??. The poster asks about educational video versus an image carousel because “the team don't want to get on camera,” and asks about B-roll with AI voiceover. They already run static ads. This is a firsthand production constraint from a marketer, not proof that any format works better.
  • Method: Meta Blueprint: Creative brief development ↗Meta Blueprint: Creative brief development covers objectives, audience, measurement and deliverables; Exploring best practices for ad creative covers placements, formats and asset customization. These official overviews support the production-planning method, not claims of superior conversion rates. Exact placement dimensions must come from the current specification supplied by staff.
  • Method: Exploring best practices for ad creative ↗Additional official capability reference. The complete adapted recipe has not been tested.

Suggested approach

Start when: An approved educational topic lacks a willing on-camera lawyer

  1. turn approved facts and licensed assets into two off-camera treatments
  2. Keep source references and report unknowns instead of filling gaps.
  3. The responsible reviewer checks the report before any separately approved action.

Limits and review

The assistant drafts or reports only. Check source records and review the output before a human performs any separately approved send or change. No automatic legal decision, money movement, account connection or publication is included.

Who reviews it: Attorney reviews the message; designer verifies readable disclosures, accessibility/captions and current placement previews. No actual client images or fake outcomes. Optional narration is generic and licensed; this card does not authorize cloning or rendering it. Do not infer that “you” is universally prohibited; review meaning in context against current supplied policy.

What you need

Acrobat AI Assistant · prepared inputs

  • Existing firm-approved Acrobat AI Assistant/PDF Spaces entitlement: Acrobat Studio, AI Assistant add-on, or another plan including AI features, with online services/cloud storage allowed. Desktop/web region and language availability apply. Verify with the administrator; no purchase or configuration change is part of this recipe.
  • An attorney-approved educational message, public firm details, approved CTA and exact jurisdiction-specific disclosures.
  • Asset owner supplies licensed/authorized asset IDs and allowed uses; no client story, synthetic client or voice clone is needed.
  • Marketer chooses intended placement and records its current official format/safe-area specifications before production.
  • Public approved facts and licensed assets only. Do not include actual client stories, identities, representation details or sensitive legal circumstances.
  • Use synthetic inputs first. Keep real data in firm-approved accounts and processing, with appropriate access, confidentiality and retention controls. Aliases alone do not anonymize records. Never paste credentials, API keys or unnecessary client details.

How to use

Documentation-verified Adobe drafting route with manual creative-brief preparation; Meta placement-spec gate remains explicit

Before you start
  • No native Meta AI query that retrieves the firm’s approved facts, legal disclosures or asset rights was verified. The drafting tool in this path is Acrobat AI Assistant.
  • Meta’s general Ads Guide redirected to login during public research. Exact live carousel sizes and placement safe areas were not personally verified; leave the draft layout-blocked unless the marketer supplies the current official specification.
  • The result is a text storyboard, not rendered media, campaign creation, publication or a compliance approval.
Check access and setup
  • Exact Meta placement specifications were not accessible in the public Ads Guide session; the marketer must supply them.
  • Adobe access and firm disclosure/asset approvals were not tested.
  1. Collect a small approved creative brief

Existing firm source documents, Meta official guidance and a text editor · Public firm pages / approved marketing document; official Meta Reels resource and Ads Guide

Copy only attorney-approved factual statements into approved_facts.txt and give them F1-style IDs. Record firm name/location/services, exact CTA, duration/slide count and no-face/no-voice constraints. Copy exact required disclosure text with its approval date. Have the asset owner fill assets.csv with asset_id, description, license/permission and allowed use from the actual asset/license records.

    Expected output
Approved facts and asset inventory plus a production brief; all are editorial inputs assembled from original materials.
    Next step
Marketer adds the chosen placement’s official specification URL and capture date.
    Check before continuing
No AI can supply missing legal approval or asset rights. Meta’s public Reels guide describes 9:16 creative and safe-zone checks, but that is not a complete universal specification for every placement. Use public approved facts and licensed assets only, excluding actual client stories, identities and sensitive legal circumstances.
  2. Load the brief in a real AI workspace

Acrobat PDF Spaces · Acrobat home > PDF Spaces > Create a PDF Space > Paste copied text / add approved files > Add to PDF Space

Add the fact list, asset inventory as an approved XLSX/TXT representation, disclosure and production specification. Use the initial prompt to check what the AI actually has. Do not connect a Meta account.

    Expected output
A source inventory with missing inputs and contradictions before any storyboard is written.
    Next step
Human resolves or expressly keeps blockers; then request the storyboard.
    Check before continuing
A pasted asset description is not a license verification. Check that exact disclosure wording and factual IDs survived.
  3. Draft two off-camera treatments

Acrobat AI Assistant · Same PDF Space chat message field

After checking the inventory, paste the storyboard prompt. Keep any missing-spec warnings in the deliverable.

    Expected output
Scene-by-scene video and carousel treatments with duration/order, on-screen copy, narration option, asset ID, fact IDs, disclosure placement and reviewer questions.
    Next step
Copy the storyboard into an internal production document.
    Check before continuing
Click cited references; reject invented assets, unsupported benefit claims or hidden disclosures. The storyboard must use only existing licensed assets.
  4. Approve a production-ready brief, if specifications are complete

    Final human review

Attorney and designer/marketer · Internal storyboard and current placement specification

Attorney reviews factual/legal wording; the designer checks rights, readable disclosures, captions and placement layout using current official specifications. Resolve every blocked item before beginning production.

    Expected output
Approved storyboard or an explicit blocked-item list.
    Next step
Hand the approved text storyboard to the firm’s existing designer/editor. Rendering and Ads Manager publishing are separate workflows.
    Check before continuing
No Meta account change, budget decision, targeting change or ad publication occurs in this recipe.

What you’ll get

a scene-by-scene short-video script and carousel storyboard, each with asset IDs, captions, disclosures and reviewer questions.

Inputs and a sample test Synthetic example · not a measured result

Input files

  • (1) `approved_facts.txt` with fact IDs and exact wording; (2) public firm name/location/services and approved CTA; (3) `assets.csv` with asset_id, description, license/permission, allowed use; (4) current placement/format specification copied by the marketer from Meta's official guidance; (5) required disclosure text plus an attorney-approved checklist with jurisdiction and review date; (6) duration/slide-count and production constraints. No actual client story, testimonial, likeness or voice is required.

Synthetic example

F1: Example Law offers scheduled consultations. F2: Office in Example City. CTA: See consultation options.
A1: licensed empty meeting-room image. A2: licensed blank-calendar graphic. No faces or voice.
Three scenes / 15 seconds and three slides. Fictional D1: Advertisement. Example Law, Example City. Placement-safe-area specification missing.

Expected output

Video: three 5-second scenes using A1/A2 and only approved facts, CTA and D1.
Carousel: the same three steps with asset/fact IDs and required disclosures.
Layout verification needed. No claim of jurisdiction compliance, Meta approval, or improved performance.

Test a failure

Attorney reviews the message; designer verifies readable disclosures, accessibility/captions and current placement previews. No actual client images or fake outcomes. Optional narration is generic and licensed; this card does not authorize cloning or rendering it. Do not infer that “you” is universally prohibited; review meaning in context against current supplied policy.

Try with the sample files

Follow the tool steps above and use the inputs named in each step. Where provided, native-* files are blank scaffolds and NATIVE-INPUT-MAPPING explains their fields. Original examples and the optional full review prompt use a separate prepared-input schema. Keep them separate unless the mapping explicitly connects them. Downloading a kit does not connect accounts or prove the workflow works.
